Auditorium and Banquet Hall

On the second level of the Recreation Centre is a large, fully equipped Auditorium and Banquet Hall.

Set-up for a dinner or dinner-dance, this large venue has a maximum capacity of 170 persons with dinner tables and dance floor, and 240 persons with no dance floor.  Set-up as an auditorium, well over 300 persons can be easily accommodated. There are both rectangle and round tables to choose from, and new, very comfy, cushioned chairs.

Fully handicapped accessible and surrounded with ample free parking, this Hall has a full kitchen with Catering Services and fully licensed Bar Facilities.  Rental rates are priced to please and the friendly service makes booking the Hall easy and affordable. The Stage Area is large enough to accommodate professional or amateur entertainers and comes equipped with a piano, spot lighting, full sound system, television, VCR and DVD players, and a large pull-down screen for PowerPoint or movie screenings.  The full hardwood dance floor means the best in “waltzing the night away”.

A “Green” Facility:  In the 1980’s, before it was a big part of our consciousness, this Hall was outfitted to be environmentally friendly.  All the Heating and Air Conditioning requirements of the hall are handled by a water sourced heat pump.  No carbon burning furnace means no carbon emissions.  Also every measure is taken that recycling is in place for all the catering and bar functions.  As much as possible all supplies for the Hall are environmentally friendly.

This Hall is perfect for your next business meeting.  Your colleagues will wonder why they didn’t think of it!  A short scenic drive into the countryside brings you to a venue that will meet your every business need.  Comfortable cushioned chairs, full temperature control, a wireless sound system for your Guest Speakers and a large screen for your presentations, assures that the business of the day is completed in style. Delicious and nutritious coffee break and luncheon catering is available onsite at very reasonable rates. Or outside catering can be brought in to your event.
